Zero Waste Bute – On Target!

Our target is for 90% of households and businesses on Bute to participate in recycling.  This is an achievable goal.  As part of our Zero Waste Bute project, we are seeking to understand what encourages or prevents people from participating.  The first of a series of pilot project focused on Bush/Serpentine area of Rothesay.  We have been collecting a wider range of plastics and undertaking consultation.

The results so far have been good.

You can read evaluation report of the enhanced collection service Evaluation Bush Serpentine Collection Service v0.1.

We would like to thank our neighbours and friends from Bush/Serpentine area for their feedback.  A great response!  You can see their views Householder Survey Results October 2015.
