Pass it on week
National Pass it on Week is coming! This year it will be running from 5-13 March 2016. It’s Scotland’s annual week to encourage keeping things in use for as long as possible by passing on, swapping, sharing or donating things you no longer use, pass it on can also involve skills and information sharing. We have a number of events going on on the Island, the list is not extensive but includes:
5th March Launch of National Pass it on week at Re-style shop with many items at £10
7th March Lauch of all school events
8th March Seed Swopping Bute Produce 2-4pm
9th March Bike Maintenance at the Bike Shed all day
10th March Energy Awareness and Advocacy Evening Bute Advise 5-7
11th March Kilo Day at Re-style Shop (items are priced by £1 per kilo)
12th March Picture and Painting Day in the Re-style shop

Apple Tree Nursery – 10th March Toy Swopping
North Bute Primary – Swopping items all week
St Andrews primary – Swopping items all week
Rothesay Joint Campus – Involved in swopping items, and during lessons in school re emphasising about Pass it on and recycling of items
Rothesay Play Group – Swopping items all week
Awareness raising for all charity shops on the island, encouraging more of us to think about donating and passing on rather than throwing away.
Events happening in Vital spark shop at East Princes Street and also Calco Moon, and many other organisations and shops locally.
Achievement Bute are holding an upcycling day during the school holidays on 13th April, please get in touch if interested.
