Volunteering

Fyne Futures is a registered Scottish charity and relies heavily on volunteer assistance.  At present, we are able to have our furniture shop, Restyle, open because people give up their own time to help out in a valuable organisation.  Having this facility on the island ensures that unwanted furniture can be reused rather than go into landfills.

All money generated from our shop goes straight back into the company so that we can provide our kerbside collection service. Thus the running of the shop is an integral part of the company, as are the volunteers who help run it.  Those who do volunteer with us have thoroughly enjoyed it, as they get to meet lots of people and help a worthwhile cause.

We are also very grateful for those people who give up their time to help out at Bute Produce.  Because the project has been such a success and so much has changed and expanded since it first began, there is a lot of work involved in running the garden efficiently and thus volunteers are highly valued by the organisation.  If you have an interest in gardening then please come and volunteer with us; you can learn the best ways to grow your own fruit and vegetables and even share some of your own tips with us!

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the shop or the garden then please contact Fyne Futures on 01700 503181.
